As a reporter who has been following the British royal family for quite some time, I can recall the countless international tours and state visits the royal family members have taken part in during years past. Just look at King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla. After almost 19 years of marriage, the royal couple have traveled around the world together: France, Scotland, Germany, Kenya, you name it. But there is still one destination the 76-year-old queen can’t seem to cross off of her travel bucket list.

On May 16, Her Majesty made a surprise appearance at the Charleston Festival in East Sussex, London. Queen Camilla also took part in the “Power of Reading” event, which aims to expose children and young adults to the joys of reading books.

As a fellow book lover herself, the royal was asked by a festival attendee if there is a place she would travel to in a book. Her answer? The magical School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from the Harry Potter series, of course.

“The one place I won’t be going to is The Cat In The Hat,” the queen told the crowd, according to Hello! Magazine. “But the one place I think I'd love to go to is Hogwarts.”

I’m not surprised that the queen named Hogwarts as her dream destination, given her love for the Harry Potter series. In the first episode of her The Queen’s Reading Room Podcast, Her Majesty shared how much she enjoys reading the Harry Potter books with her five grandchildren: Lola, 16, Eliza, 15, Louis, 14, Gus, 14, and Freddy, 13.

“I think the one I enjoyed reading more than anything else was Harry Potter,” the queen explained on the pod. Then, the royal went on to share how she often does different voices for the characters. However, her hubby, King Charles, does them best.

“I can’t mimic voices for love or money, I’m completely hopeless at it,” the queen added. “I was a really bad actor at school, and I’ve never been able to master the art of mimicry. But my husband, he does it brilliantly. He can do all the voices.”

A royal trip to Hogwarts? If only.
