So sweet

Queen Camilla made an appearance at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon on Tuesday, January 22. The royal family Instagram account posted a video of the sweet visit, capturing her friendly interactions with a number of staff members and patients. There were lots of smiles and handshakes to go around, but there was one thing about her body language that really stood out to me: Whenever she greeted a child, she bent down to speak to them—and it was such a sweet grandma move.

In the video, the Queen meets with multiple people in and out of the hospital. The caption reads, "An inspiring morning meeting the incredible patients and dedicated staff at Great Western Hospital in Swindon—proof that not all heroes wear capes!"

It continues, "The Queen officially opened the new Emergency Department and toured the expanded, state-of-the-art facilities. These include dedicated spaces for observation, resuscitation, rapid assessment, and major injuries. Her Majesty also visited the new Children’s Emergency Unit and infant feeding room, meeting patients of all ages."

If you want further proof, here are a series of photos that prove my point. In the image above, Queen Camilla bends down to grab a bouquet of flowers from a young child, smiling and giving full eye contact while accepting the gesture.

Another photo showed the 77-year-old bending down to chat with a little boy (and his adorable teddy) as a guardian smiles at the moment. It's clear that the grandma of 10 knows just how to give littles her undivided attention and it's so heartwarming to see in action.

Aside from bending down, Queen Camilla took it a step further by giving the same child a high-five—because she's not a regular grandma, she's a cool Grandma. The look on the kid's face says they are happy to be vibing with the Queen.

Now, this isn't the first time Her Majesty went full-grandma mode. While attending an event hosted by the Royal Air Force, she exhibited similar gestures with a mother and her baby. She even looked down, saying "Hello, Rose" and played with the baby's feet.

Aw, we love grandma Camilla.
