For Priyanka Chopra, this Mother's Day was extra exciting, as it was the first time she got to celebrate the holiday as a mother herself, after she and Nick Jonas welcomed a baby daughter via surrogate back in January. In order to mark the special occasion, the pair made candid posts on their Instagram accounts, along with sharing the first glimpse of their baby girl, Malti Marie Chopra.
In the surprise photo, Chopra is seen snuggling Malti close to her chest and smiling with her eyes closed, while Jonas looks on and holds the baby's hand in his own. The pair slyly covered their child's face with a white heart emoji.
Each of them also included the same first paragraph in their captions, where they said, “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”
