It read, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much [red heart emoji].” Jonas posted the same shot on his personal Instagram account.
Chopra and Jonas tied the back in 2018 in a lavish multi-day wedding. They kicked things off with a Christian ceremony, then wed a second time on the following day in a Hindu ceremony.
Last year, Chopra was criticized after she removed “Jonas” from her Instagram page. She later revealed that fans often dissect her every move on social media and search for hidden clues that don’t exist.
“It’s a very vulnerable feeling, actually, that if I post a picture, everything that’s behind me in that picture is going to be zoomed in on, and people are going to speculate," Chopra told Vanity Fair. “It’s just a professional hazard. Because of the noise of our social media, because of the prevalence that it has in our lives, I think it seems a lot larger than it is. I think that we give it a lot more credence in real life, and I don’t think it needs that.”
Congratulations to the new parents!
