Princess Madeleine of Sweden Celebrates the Holidays with Rare Photo of All 3 Children

One of the best parts of the holidays is seeing all the royal family Christmas cards. King Charles and Queen Camilla’s featured a familiar photo, along with Princess Anne’s. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s included a rare pic of their two children (and their three dogs).

Princess Madeleine of Sweden is the latest royal to share a family photo on Instagram. The 42-year-old royal posted a rare picture of her three children—Princess Leonore, 10, Prince Nicolas, 9, and Princess Adrienne, 6—posing in front of a stunning Christmas tree.

As Hello! magazine notes, the royal children are accompanied by their grandmother, Queen Silvia, who is the mother of Princess Madeleine and the wife of King Carl XVI Gustaf. They’re also pictured with their cousins, Princess Estelle, 12, Prince Oscar, 8, Prince Alexander, 8, Prince Gabriel, 7, and Prince Julian, 3. 

The translated caption reads, “So lovely to receive this year's Christmas trees at the Castle together with grandma and cousins. Thank you @skogisgranar!”

Followers filled the comments section with positive messages. One person wrote, “Beautiful family [red heart emoji].” Another added, “Wonderful picture with our beautiful Queen and her fine grandchildren! Merry Christmas!”

The Swedish royal family also shared a video on their personal Instagram account, featuring footage of the fam decorating their Christmas tree.
