Ever since Queen Rania of Jordan became a grandma, she hasn’t been able to hide her excitement. (Just look at this photo!) And now, there’s a new royal baby on the way.

Today, the 54-year-old queen announced that she’s going to be a grandma (again). Queen Rania shared a photo on Instagram and confirmed that her daughter, Princess Iman, and her son-in-law, Jameel Thermiotis, are expecting their first child.

The picture features the couple standing on a beach with the sunset in the background, highlighting their black silhouettes. Princess Iman is cradling a noticeable baby bump, while Thermiotis stares lovingly at his wife.

The translated caption read, “Both are dear to my heart, but the one to come is even more precious... May God bring it to a blessed end.” Queen Rania also wrote a message in English, adding, “Two is a couple, three is a blessing.”

The couple first went public with their relationship back in 2022 when Princess Iman announced her engagement on the Jordanian monarchy's official Instagram account. She and Thermiotis tied the knot in March 2023 in a classic royal wedding.

Princess Iman is the daughter of Queen Rania and King Abdullah of Jordan and the younger sister of Crown Prince Hussein. Her brother and his wife, Princess Rajwa, welcomed their first child in August 2024 and named her after Princess Iman.

Since then, Prince Hussein hasn’t been shy about documenting his fatherhood journey on Instagram. He not only shared a photo of himself and his daughter wearing matching outfits, but he also brought her to work.

Just wait until her cousin arrives.
