Hear, hear! Royal wedding season is always brimming with spectacle, well-known attendees and plenty of cutting-edge fashion. So it was no surprise when Princess Eugenie stepped out in a beautiful long-sleeve wedding guest dress while attending the nuptials of Hugh Grosvenor, 33, and Olivia Henson, 31, aka the Duke and Duchess of Westminster.

The newlyweds married at the gothic Chester Cathedral in northern England on June 7, and the British high-society wedding of the year ushered in many royal guests amongst the 400 attendees, including the 34-year-old princess and her cousin Prince William (who served as an usher at the wedding).

The rather windy weather that day called for long sleeves and midi and maxi length dresses, so Princess Eugenie was right on trend when she sported a designer dress by fashion label Joseph, whose beginnings trace back to a hair salon on London’s Kings Road in the 1960s. The slipover style knit midi dress features a pleated skirt that has an elegant metallic sheen to it, a dramatic handkerchief hem that falls below the knee and a tasteful V-neckline, which she paired with a minimalist necklace and neutral-colored accessories.

It’s elegant, understated yet oh-so-sophisticated. And, it doesn’t go unnoticed to this fashion editor that the princess is wearing it in one of summer’s top color trends. I can only imagine how comfortable and forgiving the material is, not to mention how perfectly weighty it feels on a windy day. Best of all? You can snag Princess Eugenie’s look for less right now. Originally $795, the A-line silhouette is now on sale for $397 at Neiman Marcus (a discount of nearly $400!).

Now that’s what I call royal savings.
