Princess Eugenie didn’t hold back for August’s first Halloween, and there are two photos to prove it.
Over the weekend, the 31-year-old royal documented her son’s monster costume on her personal Instagram account.
In the photo, August is wearing a blue onesie costume, which includes a hood with eyes and ears. He’s staring directly at what appears to be a Minion pillow. Princess Eugenie captioned the post, “[Pumpkin emoji] [ghost emoji]…wonder what they are talking about…”
Fans immediately filled the comments section with words of support. One person wrote, “Super cute costume.” Another added, “Awwww so cute. Always fun trying to figure out their conversations too.” Someone even said what we’re all thinking: “There are talking of Banana probably.”
Princess Eugenie followed up with another picture on her Instagram Story—this time, it showed August crawling across the carpet. In the caption, she wrote, “At least my little Halloween monster is scary…”
This isn’t the first time Princess Eugenie has documented August’s first experience with a holiday. Back in April, the royal shared an Easter photo featuring herself, August and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, posing under a massive tree. (Seriously, we almost had to squint to see Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter and her family.)
She captioned the post, “Wishing everyone a Happy Easter and a blossoming Spring. #happyeaster #blossom #spring.” And while it’s unclear where the image was taken, it was possibly captured at their Frogmore Cottage home.
Still, one question remains: Did August go trick-or-treating?
