Princess Diana & Her Brother Could Practically Pass as Twins in Rare Throwback Photo

Charles Spencer just shared a never-before-seen photo of his late sister, Princess Diana, and the resemblance is uncanny.

Today, Spencer posted a rare throwback picture on his personal Instagram account in honor of his 57th birthday. The black-and-white image features young Charles (not the prince) and Diana enjoying a pool day in their swimsuits.

In the photo, Charles and Diana are sitting on a small bench in the family’s backyard. While Charles is leaning back, Diana is resting her hands on her knees and giving the camera a smug expression that screams, “Really, mom? Another photo?”

The similarities between the two siblings are evident, including everything from their button noses to their sun kissed hair.

The caption read, “Some bonds go back a very long way.”

Almost immediately, fans started filling the comments section with words of support. One person wrote, “That is the most beautiful photograph, and the bond is obvious. Thank you for sharing... made me smile. God bless Diana’s soul.” Another added, “How you are so much you and Diana so much her…quite amazing how some photographs seem to really capture the subjects.” Someone even wished Spencer a happy birthday: “Happy birthday Charles! I think Diana would be pouring blessings on you from heaven…”

This isn’t the first time Spencer has honored his late sister on social media. Last year, the British author posted a throwback pic of himself and Princess Diana, who’s wearing a pink striped dress. Last month, Spencer also shared a rare photo of his grandmother, Cynthia, who is nearly identical to the late princess.

Keep the throwback pictures coming, Charles.
