While attending the final day of Wimbledon with her surprise plus one, Princess Charlotte, Kate Middleton (who has been absent from the public eye due to her ongoing cancer treatment) brought back her classic move. But that’s not the only go-to move that caught my attention.
As I mentioned, 9-year-old Princess Charlotte accompanied her mom to the final men’s tennis match. For the occasion, the young royal was spotted wearing a Guess Girls Blue Chiffon Polka Dot Dress.
Later that day, Princess Catherine and Princess Charlotte were photographed crossing the bridge as they departed from Centre Court after 2024 Wimbledon came to a close. As the Princess of Wales smiled and waved at photographers, Princess Charlotte showed off her signature move: the “Charlotte Wave.”
Princess Charlotte’s signature move made a comeback during this year’s Trooping the Colour. As she rode in the Glass Coach carriage alongside her mom and two brothers, Prince George, 10, and Prince Louis, 6, Princess Charlotte (who is starting to look more and more like her dad, Prince William) was captured on camera smiling and waving out the carriage window at well-wishers.
This brought me back to the 2022 Trooping the Colour, where Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis made their royal debut during the annual parade to mark Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. At the time, royal fans like myself saw the “Charlotte Wave” in action, along with Prince George and Prince Louis showing off their waving skills as well.
