Princess Charlotte Looks So Grown Up (and So Much Like Dad Prince William) in New Birthday Photos

We can't believe it, but somehow, Princess Charlotte is already turning 7 years old on May 2. In typical fashion, the young royal's parents—Prince William and Kate Middleton—shared photos of their middle child to Instagram on Sunday in honor of her big day, and we simply can't get over how grown up she looks.

The pictures were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, who has recently been the go-to photographer for her family. In the first photo, Princess Charlotte is seen seated in a field of flowers, cuddled up next to the English Cocker Spaniel that her family adopted last year. She is wearing a blue knit sweater with a polka-dot Peter Pan collar underneath, as well as navy blue slacks. In the second photo, the princess smiles while holding a handful of flowers.

The caption of the photo read, “Seven tomorrow!” along with a cake emoji.

While obsessing over these new portraits of Princess Charlotte, we couldn't help but notice how much she resembles her father, Prince William.

In the past, we've noted that the soon-to-be 7-year-old looks similar to a few royal family members, including Queen Elizabeth and Lady Kitty Spencer. However, her resemblance to the Duke of Cambridge is uncanny in these latest snaps, and she's looking more and more like him with each passing day (sorry, Kate).

Still, she's already started taking fashion cues from her mother, and the two have been spotted wearing matching outfits at recent events.
