The card comes just days after her wedding anniversary

Princess Anne has officially released her Christmas card—just a few days after celebrating her 32nd wedding anniversary with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence. (It also came shortly before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dropped a new Christmas card including a rare pic of their two kids.)

On Facebook, the Reliant Motor Club shared a pic of the festive card, which includes a photo of the Princess Royal riding alongside her husband in a carriage, following a service at St George's Chapel on Garter Day in June. Anne is decked out in blue velvet Garter robes and white gloves with a black Tudor hat, while her husband dons a black suit and matching top hat. However, I noticed something odd about the personal message.

The card reads, "With best wishes for a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year, from Anne."

The card includes a personal touch, thanks to Princess Anne's signature, but I couldn't help but notice that her husband's signature is missing.

I stumbled upon another Christmas card from the princess, which was sent to the Reliant Motor Club in 2020, and I noticed the same thing: only Anne's signature is included.

The card from 2020 features a charming photo of the royal and her husband sitting together on a bench with their dogs in front of them.

As for why these cards are missing Sir Timothy's signature, it's likely because Princess Anne is an honorary member of the Reliant Motor Club, which means she has a more personal connection to the organization. In fact, on the official website's home page, there's a short tribute to the princess that reads, "We are delighted that Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal is an Honorary Member of the Reliant Motor Club. The Princess sends her best wishes to all within the club. Her Royal Highness has owned a number of Reliants including Scimitars, Robins and Kittens and still owns a 1989 Middlebridge Scimitar."

Princess Anne's Christmas card comes a week after King Charles and Queen Camilla unveiled their holiday card, which includes a snap of the couple wearing color-coordinated outfits as they pose in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.

Now, if only I could get a glimpse of Kate Middleton and Prince William's 2024 holiday card...
