Just call him the Prince of Making Headlines. Prince William, 42, may have taken a few weeks off this summer to spend time with his wife, Kate Middleton, 42, and their three kids, but now that fall is here, the future monarch is going full throttle.

Just this week, William attended the Centrepoint Awards at The British Museum, donned some surprising footwear while playing flag football and penned a rare personal message (which he signed with his initial, "W"). And now, he's making news as footage for his upcoming documentary Prince William: We Can End Homelessness has been released.

During the documentary, which is set to air October 30 and 31 on ITV, Prince William sits for an in-depth interview to discuss his intense efforts to end homelessness once and for all.

The latest footage from the interview was released yesterday and gave royal fans a better look at what they can expect. In the video, an interviewer asks the prince, "There will be some people who might question whether you're the right person to lead this project and its efforts to end homelessness. How would you respond to that?"

Prince William responds thoughtfully, saying, "I think everyone having a right to a safe and stable home benefits us all. I come with no other agenda than desperately trying to help people who are in need. And I see that as part of my role."

He continues, "Why else would I be here if I'm not using this role properly to influence and help people where I can? And I like a big challenge. I do like that, but I can't do it on my own."

The royal family previously teased the upcoming doc on the official Kensington Palace Instagram page. In an earlier post, shown above, the prince says, "I think it's really important that we can try and change and tackle the narrative around homelessness."

According to ITV, "Filmed over 12 months, this landmark ITV1 and ITVX documentary follows Prince William and the first year of his Homewards programme which he hopes will demonstrate it is possible to end homelessness. This two-part series, produced by Mindhouse, directed by BAFTA-winning Leo Burley and executive-produced by Arron Fellows, features powerful stories of those currently facing homelessness or who have lived experience of the issue, alongside some life-changing solutions."

We first learned about this film project back in July, though it shouldn't come as a surprise to royal followers. In addition to his environmental work, the prince has long been a champion of fighting homelessness in the U.K.

Homewards, launched in partnership with The Royal Foundation, is his five-year initiative started in June 2023. Per the official website, it aims to "give people across the U.K. hope that homelessness can be prevented by showing them the progress we can make when we collaborate."

Prince William: We Can End Homelessness airs October 30 and 31 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, STV and STV Player.
