This latest solo portrait of Prince William has to be one for the books.
Earlier this morning, the Prince of Wales paid a visit to his old stomping grounds: his former air base on the island of Anglesey, North Wales. (FYI, Prince William served as an RAF search and rescue pilot at the RAF Valley for three years.)
According to Hello Magazine!, the 42-year-old royal returned to the base as the newly appointed Royal Honorary Air Commodore—a position given to him by his dad, King Charles, last August. This particular site helps train fighter pilots in addition to teaching recruits mountain and maritime operations that can be used around the world.
In a stunning photo taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson, Prince William’s striking profile is on full display. As he looks off into the distance, the father of three appears extremely stoic while wearing a suit jacket, a white collared shirt and tie.
