Prince William Reveals Sweet Similarity Between Himself, Prince George and Prince Harry

Prince William Admits Son Prince George shares military interst universal

You know what they say—like father, like son. And in the case of the royal family, I would even go further and say like uncle too! I can only imagine that’s what Squadron Leader Chrissie Lacey, a padre serving at RAF (Royal Air Force) Coningsby, thought to himself during a recent talk with the Prince of Wales.

At a Buckingham Palace garden party hosted earlier this week by 75-year-old monarch King Charles and Queen Camilla, Prince William shared a sweet sentiment about his son’s, Prince George, shared passion.

Hello Magazine! reports that Prince William revealed that Prince George, who is second in line to the throne, is quite keen on following in his and Prince Harry’s footsteps, sharing that they have a “potential pilot in the making” eagerly awaiting a visit to the base.

This comes just as the Prince of Wales shared a throwback photo of himself during his service in the Royal Air Force where he served as a RAF Search and Rescue pilot from 2010 to 2013. The image reminded me of the resurfaced photo of Prince Harry in a secret military post that circulated two years ago.

The 10-year-old future king’s interests are nothing new, in fact. When he was a 3-year-old toddler, Kate Middleton divulged that her son was “obsessed with planes and wants to become an air cadet.” The royal couple has since brought Prince George and his siblings on excursions to the Royal Air Force (RAF) Fairford in Gloucestershire for the Royal International Air Tattoo, the world's largest military air show.

While we have many years before we see George in a service uniform, it’s a good thing he has his father and uncle to learn from in the meantime. It must run in the family, indeed.
