The Prince of Wales revealed this tidbit about his son days before his 6th birthday

Days before Prince Louis’s 6th birthday (which is today, HBD!), Prince William candidly revealed during his visit to the food charity, Surplus to Supper, that his youngest son already has a favorite sport he loves to play. Spoiler: It’s neither soccer (or what the Brits like to call football) or rugby, which are two of his parents’ fave sports.

While being introduced to charity workers, who fight to combat food waste and food poverty throughout London, the proud dad, 41, shared that the young prince loves to play cricket, according to Hello! Magazine

It should come as no surprise that the Wales children are sports fans. For instance, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s oldest son, Prince George, is quite a football fan; just like his dad.

Earlier this month, the Prince of Wales and his 10-year-old son attended a game between Aston Villa (aka their favorite team) and Lille OSC, who faced off during the UEFA Europa Conference League 2023/24 quarterfinal match in Birmingham.

One snapped photo showed the pair standing up from their seats and clapping as their team scored a goal. The father-son duo were practically twinning in their matching blue attire.

As I mentioned, Prince William revealed Prince Louis’s favorite sport ahead of his 6th birthday, which is today (April 23). In honor of the young prince’s special day, the royal family shared a brand-new portrait on social media.

Taken by the Princess of Wales herself, the birthday portrait shows Prince Louis smiling widely while lying down on a blanket. He is also wearing a plaid shirt and blue shorts.

The caption of the post read, “Happy 6th birthday, Prince Louis. Thank you for all the kind wishes today.”
