It’s common for members of the royal family to receive gifts when they step out for official outings, like when King Charles was given a meaningful flower during his and Queen Camilla’s visit to Northern Ireland. Even Prince William was recently gifted a special accessory, which will double as a souvenir for his daughter, Princess Charlotte.
Prince William Reveals Adorable Princess Charlotte Detail on Tour—With a Surprising Taylor Swift Connection
She's a Swiftie

This week, the Prince of Wales, 42, traveled to Estonia for a two-day royal tour. When he visited The Freedom School (which was founded by the Ministry of Education and Research), the prince was given a friendship bracelet that was made by one of the students.
This prompted Prince William to share a sweet detail about his 9-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, who is a big fan of friendship bracelets.
“My daughter will probably try and poach it off me later,” the royal said. “She loves these friendship bracelets.”
Prince William added, “Thank you very much, I like the Ukrainian colours. Thank you, that’s very kind.”
Friendship bracelets, of course, made a huge comeback last year as Taylor Swift fans made and traded them at her Eras Tour concerts. Although Prince William didn’t mention Swift’s name, the royal’s comment was likely referring to Princess Charlotte and her obsession with the “Blank Space” singer.
Back in June 2024, Prince William accompanied the 9-year-old and her brother, Prince George, to a Taylor Swift concert. He even brought the kids backstage, where they posed for a photo with the musician. Since then, Princess Charlotte has been spotted wearing friendship bracelets on multiple occasions.
The question is: Will Princess Charlotte add her dad’s newest gift to her friendship bracelet collection?
