Just yesterday, Prince William and Princess Catherine released a video update on Instagram chronicling the conclusion of Kate's chemotherapy treatment. And no sooner had the video gone up than the couple decided to change their profile picture to a screenshot from the heartfelt message.

Compared to other profile pictures that the couple has used, this one is uncommonly candid, casual, joyous and uninhibited. This time around, the photo shows the couple sitting on a brown blanket in the middle of the Norfolk forests. Will and Kate smile and laugh together, hands and legs intertwined in a rare moment of PDA for the pair.
Kate wears a powder blue short-sleeved wrap dress and white tennis shoes while William wears a coordinated blue-gray polo shirt, black shorts and blue and white sneakers. Typically we see the couple dressed up for charity events, black tie occasions and other formal engagements, so this break from status quo is definitely refreshing.
Less than 24 hours after the health update video was posted, it has garnered over two million likes—and for good reason. The vid includes a message from the princess: “As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.” The intimate film is also a slice of life from the royal family, showing Prince William, Princess Catherine, their three children (George, Charlotte and Louis), their dog and grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton as they explore, play, laugh and enjoy each others' company.
Here's to hoping we get to see more of these intimate family moments from the Prince and Princess of Wales.
