I’ve seen my fair share of mysterious portraits of Prince William, from black-and-white snaps to close-up candids. Still, his latest portrait is far more reflective than previous photos. 

Yesterday, the Prince of Wales shared a slideshow of pictures on Instagram from his visit to the Estonian Cleantech Association, where he participated in a workshop that highlighted various start-ups geared toward developing renewable energy. The post included a stunning portrait of Prince William sitting alone on stage and reflecting on a powerful moment.

The first photo showed Prince William sitting on stage and holding a microphone, and based on the candid nature of the shot, he was genuinely reacting to the discussion at hand. 

In the caption, Prince William shared more details about the organization’s mission. “Great to see how Cleantech Association is leading the charge in developing innovative solutions to combat climate change. The global adoption of renewable energy has never been more urgent, and it’s clear that these new technologies are central to the transition to a cleaner, more secure energy future.”

It continued, “Today’s visit comes at a time of great change in energy security for the Baltic states, with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania’s recent move to European electricity supply.”
