The Palace captioned their post, "Thank you Kuwait and Oman! The Duke of Cambridge’s first visit to Kuwait and Oman paid tribute to the historic ties Britain shares with Kuwait and Oman and highlighted strong links and cooperation in several areas."
The video shows the Duke of Cambridge meeting with world leaders, engaging with the locals and speaking with military personnel. The 28-second video also showcases the prominent themes of the trip, including education, sustainability and security.
Last week, Prince William began his four-day visit to the Middle East and it marked the first time he visited both Kuwait and Oman. We first learned about the solo trip back in November and then followed along this past week as Kensington Palace posted images of the different tour stops.
While in Kuwait, Prince Wiliam spent time meeting with the Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs and visiting the Al Jahra Nature Reserve. He also spent day three watching troops conduct training exercises before visiting with the Royal Navy in Oman.
It may be the last tour of the year, but we look forward to seeing what the royal couple has planned for 2020.
