I don't care if it's cheesy to say, but celebrities...they're just like us. On October 19, it was reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton have a new sleeping arrangement—and trust me, a lot of us are guilty of doing this every now and then. According to Hello!, sources say the royal couple lets their dog Orla sleep in their bed with them.
Prince William and Kate Middleton's Sleeping Arrangement Is *So* Relatable—and I'm Guilty of Doing It Too
I totally understand
During a visit at the Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington, Cornwall, the Prince of Wales told Louise Harland, who had her own doggo with her, that he and Kate let their pup sleep with them. In a video, Prince William was seen petting the dog and chatting with Harland. Although the video is hard to hear, you can hear him say, "My dog is exactly like this...loves cuddles."
The actress chatted with Hits Radio Cornwall afterwards and shared her moment with Prince William. "[He was] absolutely in love with my little dog. He asked what breed he was and he's never met one of those breeds. He's a Cockerjack, so he's a little bit of a unique combination," she said. "He also said that his little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night, with him and Kate," she said.
In 2020, Prince William and Kate Middleton adopted Orla, who was gifted to them by Kate's brother James Middleton. The English Cocker Spaniel made her debut in Princess Charlotte's 7th birthday portrait.
Over the years, we've gotten glimpses of the adorable pup. The most recent appearance was in Kate's emotional recovery video in September which included the entire family and miss 'golden princess' herself in the background.
Let's face it: A good night's sleep is not complete with Orla around.
