Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are totally in-sync, even when it comes to parenting.
Today, the Prince, 41, and Princess of Wales, also 41, kicked off the U.K.’s Black History Month with an official outing in Wales, where they learned more about the Windrush generation. While greeting a group of children, the royal couple demonstrated their go-to parenting move in unison.
As shown by the photos, the pair bent down to speak with the kids at eye-level. The parenting move can foster open communication and create a comfortable environment for children. The Prince and Princess of Wales have used it on their own kids, as well as people they meet in public. However, we’ve never seen them so synchronized.
Princess Catherine wore a pin-stripe outfit by Holland Cooper, including a blazer ($669), high-waisted trousers ($364) and a bodysuit ($180). If the outfit looks familiar, that’s because she wore the same suit last week when she met Apple CEO Tim Cook. But at the time, she wore a turtleneck.
The outing held a special meaning to the royal couple. Not only did it commemorate the start of Black History Month, but it also marked the 75th anniversary of HMT Empire Windrush’s arrival in London. As a result, Prince William and Princess Catherine met with members of the Windrush Cymru Elders, Black History Cymru 365 and the Minority Ethnic Youth Forum.
