The caption read, “Wishing @paralympicsgb_official and all the athletes from around the world the best of luck in this year’s #Paralympics.”
It continued, “We can’t wait to see the talent and skill displayed over the next two weeks #ImpossibleToIgnore.” Props to Prince William and Middleton for incorporating hashtags.
We’re not totally surprised by the heartfelt message, especially since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are long time sports fans. Back in July, the royal couple kicked off the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by sharing a touching message on Twitter for Team Great Britain. “Wishing all the athletes and staff @TeamGB the best of luck this #Tokyo2020 #Olympics,” they wrote. “Although it won’t be like previous Games, enjoy it and we know you’ll do the nation proud.”
Prince William and Middleton also attended the Euro 2020 final at Wembley Stadium. They even brought their oldest son, Prince George, who twinned with his dad in a sharp suit paired with a red, white and blue striped tie.
Never change, you two.
