We’d do anything to catch a glimpse of Prince William’s cell phone history after this brand-new interview.

This week, the Prince of Wales, 41, and his wife, Kate Middleton, also 41, sat down for an interview with Jordan North and Vick Hope for BBC Radio 1’s Going Home. The hosts asked the couple a combination of serious and silly questions, including details about their most-used emoji.

Prince William joked that his favorite emoji isn’t totally appropriate. “Is this a clean thing or is this a family one?” he said. “I’ve been told not to say the aubergine [aka eggplant], so I’ve got to pick something else.”

The royal continued, “It would have been the aubergine, but I’m saying now—because I’ve got to be all grown up—it’s the one where the eyes go up and down and the mouth’s out. What’s that one? The slightly crazy one.”

Of course, Princess Catherine suggested a much safer option. “Mine’s probably going to be the heart then the crying emoji,” she explained. “The hysterical laughing when things have gone wrong.”

The interview was tied to the forum that Prince William and Princess Catherine hosted on October 10 in honor of World Mental Health Day. During the event, Prince William shared advice for maintaining a healthy wellbeing.

“Having a laugh. Humor for me is a big deal—I love to laugh,” he admitted. “You’ve got to look at the lighter things in life sometimes to feel good.”

We love his humor.
