Prince William, 41, and Kate Middleton, 41, look like they're ready to quite their jobs as royals and enter a BMX tournament.
The royal pair tested out a cycling obstacle course during a trip to Moray, Scotland on Thursday, November 2. Photos from the sporty visit were posted to the couple's official Instagram account, where we could see the Prince and Princess of Wales biking across ramps (and wearing their helmets, of course).
“An insightful afternoon learning how organisations in Moray are supporting the wellbeing of its young people,” the caption of the post read. “Both @outfitmoray and @officialsayfc highlight the importance of bringing rural communities together. Whether it’s connecting young farmers or providing outdoor opportunities, it’s great to see how building strong support networks is a priority across the region.”
Outfit Moray is a charity and social enterprise dedicated to outdoor adventure in its eponymous Scottish region, and they're the ones who hosted the biking activity.
On the org's official Instagram, they posted pictures from the royal visit, along with a caption, which read, “Our bike skills obstacle course got the Royal seal of approval yesterday when the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay did a lap each, much to the delight of the young people watching on!” (FYI: The Rothesay titles are used in Scotland for Prince William and Princess Catherine, as opposed to their Wales titles.)
This isn't the first time we've seen the prince and princess show off their love of cycling.
In fact, for the couple’s 12th wedding anniversary, they posed for a portrait while sitting atop two bikes. The photo was snapped by photographer Matt Porteous, who is a frequent documenter for the royal couple.
