When you're a royal, people expect you to be traveling in style. For Prince William, traveling in style often means by car, train or helicopter. And today, the royal arrived to Aberdeen, Scotland, via jet to his latest engagement. The Prince and Princess of Wales's official Instagram story released a video of William exiting the jet and descending down a set of metal stairs onto the airport tarmac. The video posted has a text overlay that says "[waving emoji] Aberdeen!" with a tag for the Aberdeen Airport.

According to the Daily Record, the Prince of Wales is headed to Scotland to congratulate the staff members of Homewards Aberdeen, one of the The Royal Foundation's social programs, "in their ongoing efforts to tackle the growing issue and supporting those living rough on the streets." The royal also plans to meet members of the Aberdeen community that have been helped by Homewards.

This project, spearheaded by The Prince of Wales himself, was set up in tandem with King Charles in 2023 and aims to eradicate homelessness in all its forms in the cities where it's implemented as a part of a five year plan. The royal is working toward rolling out the program across the U.K., but as of right now, the programs only exist in a handful of cities.

Seeing William arrive to Aberdeen via jet is a fun sight to see as the royal family has been spotted more frequently traveling in trains or cars, often operating the latter on their own. Town & Country wrote an article back in 2019 documenting the different ways that the royals make their way across the U.K. and abroad. It was not uncommon to see the late Queen Elizabeth behind the wheel traveling to engagements and recently we also have seen Princess Catherine driving in the video announcing the end of her chemotherapy treatment. In addition, the royals aren't always immune to delays, sometimes flying on commercial flights or trains that needs to be rerouted on different tracks.
