Prince William’s Body Language (and Surprising Footwear) Made Him Appear Calm & Comfy During a Flag Football Outing

His relaxed appearance was complemented by his casual footwear. Prince William opted for a pair of white sneakers, which allowed him to show off his athletic side without appearing too stiff. 

It’s important to note that Prince William kept his jacket on throughout the entire event. Perhaps he wanted to maintain a professional appearance while engaging in child’s play. Or maybe the jacket was hiding a flaw—like wrinkles or (dare I say) sweat stains. 

He did, however, keep two buttons of his shirt undone. As I previously reported, this makes him appear more relaxed and at ease when compared to other photos of the prince with a tightly buttoned collar.

This isn’t the first time Prince William’s body language and attire has revealed how he's feeling during a royal outing. Recently, the Prince of Wales attended the launch of London Air Ambulance’s two newest helicopters alongside soccer/football star David Beckham. Unlike with this NFL event, Prince William appeared stiff and awkward next to Beckham, who had open body language while flashing a bright smile.

Then, a few days later, Prince William stepped out to celebrate the reopening of the Birtley Community Pool in Tyne and Wear. In a major shift, the Prince of Wales appeared way more at ease delivering a genuine smile and calm posture that made him look like he was fully enjoying himself.
