Prince William Hands Out Vegan Burgers to Unsuspecting Customers During Latest Outing

We might have to start calling the Prince of Wales “Chef Prince William” from now on.

The royal dad of three, 41, recently partnered with Sorted Food to create the first-ever vegan Earthshot Burger. This past Sunday, the Sorted Food gang uploaded a brand-new episode on their YouTube channel, and royally-obsessed fans had an opportunity to see the prince put on his chef hat (only for a little while).

The video (see below) starts with Prince William personally delivering a special package to the Sorted Food kitchen. While carrying cardboard boxes filled with vegetables, he walks into the room and says, “I've brought you some Earthshot bits and pieces,” and proceeds to hand the materials to Barry Taylor (aka one of the Sorted Food members).

Then, he goes on to talk a little bit about the Earthshot Prize, which he launched in 2020 to help combat climate change. “It’s an initiative I started about two years ago now, although it's been about four years in the making,” the royal prince explained. “It’s trying to help accelerate change and elevate people who are doing incredible things.”

After the Sorted Food team assemble the plant-based burger, Prince William lends a helping hand in passing out the dish to customers on a food truck. “Can we have four Earthshot Burgers please, chef?” Sorter Food pal Jamie Spafford says right as the prince turns around with the order in his hands.

“Coming right up,” Prince William says to the shocked patrons. “Of all the things I was expecting, it was not that,” one person adds.

This year, the Earthshot Prize will take place in Singapore on November 7, 2023. And this September, the Prince of Wales will travel to New York City to attend the second annual Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit in NYC. (ICYMI, the royal heir will give a speech to the winners of last year’s award.)

Those Earthshot Burgers sure look good…
