I didn't realize Prince Harry had it in him

Earlier this week, Prince Harry surprised a group of kids with a priceless gift while promoting the 2025 Invictus Games. The Duke of Sussex, 40, has continued his promo tour—but this time, he’s relying on humor (and assistance from Jelly Roll).

Prince Harry just released a video that explains why he was previously seen in a tattoo parlor during his trip to New York. The clip is a promotional video for the Invictus Games, and it features Jelly Roll pretending to give Prince Harry a tattoo.

In the clip, Prince Harry is sitting in the tattoo chair. Right on cue, Jelly Roll walks in and takes a seat in the artist’s position. When Prince Harry spots his gloves, he says, “Why are you wearing your gloves?” to which Jelly Roll responds, “We’re giving you a tattoo about the Invictus Games, right?”

Prince Harry explains that there’s been a miscommunication. “Uh, no, I came here to ask you to do the Invictus Games,” he adds. “There’s no tattoo in this. I can’t get a tattoo.”

After very little convincing (and some NSFW negotiating about the location of the ink), the Duke of Sussex agrees to get a “tattoo” if Jelly Roll participates in the games. When Prince Harry asks if Jelly Roll knows how to give a tattoo, the musician says, “What? Practically. Pretty much. Trust me, man, you wouldn’t want anybody else doing this but me.”

When he reveals the “tattoo,” it says, “I am Jelly Roll,” on Prince Harry’s neck.  (The saying is a take on the Invictus Games’ “I am” motto.)

The tattoo might be fake, but it’s nice to see Prince Harry embrace his silly side.
