Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may have said goodbye to their royal lives and packed their bags for Los Angeles, but they're still continuing to give back, especially to their new community.
It’s been reported by Entertainment Tonight that the duo joined Project Angel Food to deliver free meals to people suffering from serious illnesses. This is apparently the second time they volunteered for the charity, after also helping them on Easter Sunday. They began delivering prepared meals and emergency kits after learning about the drivers being overloaded on the busy holiday.
"I am blown away that they chose us. They care about our vulnerable population," Richard Ayoub, Project Angel Food’s executive director told ET. "Our clients are most at risk to contract the coronavirus, having compromised immune systems including heart disease, lung disease, diabetes and most are over the age of 60."
A source told the site, Meghan and Harry were following the social distance guidelines (including protective gear) and made over 20 deliveries.
