There's no denying that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's relationship is "stronger than ever" as one expert perfectly told PureWow—and after sifting through countless images of the royal couple on their Canadian trip to the 2025 Invictus Games, I can see why.
I couldn't help but notice one sweet photo that was captured at the Whistler Welcoming Ceremony. It definitely gives us a peek into their close relationship. Don't believe me? Look at the photo below for yourself.
In the close up shot, you can see Markle looking up at her husband lovingly as he speaks to someone. This level of attention is why Darren Stanton, body language expert and human lie detector, previously said this about their relationship (on behalf of Betfair Live Casino): "We’ve seen Meghan observing Harry from the sidelines while he’s focused and concentrating—and she’s looked at Harry adoringly and displayed feelings of pride and comfort. It’s shown that Meghan is proud to be Harry’s wife and he continues to impress her five years after they got married."
Now, this wasn't the only picture where Markle was giving Prince Harry her undivided attention. It happened numerous times—here's proof from another angle. You can see Markle gazing up at her husband with a huge smile on her face.
And Markle wasn't the only one lovestruck. The photo above captures the huge smile on Prince Harry's face as Markle chats excitedly about something (my bet's on her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan). As Stanton previously said, Harry often gives direct eye contact and smiles at who's speaking, which shows his "enthusiasm to be there, but his ability to be open and authentic with how he's feeling."
The royal couple also showed some subtle PDA, whether it was hand-holding or staying close to each other during the ceremony. The Duchess of Sussex even gave us a behind-the-scenes video on her Instagram story of her husband breaking protocol to interact with two fans through his car window.
