There are two types of people in this world: cat people and dog people. When it comes to the British royal family, they appear to be the latter. There was Queen Elizabeth, who owned countless corgis throughout her life. (FYI, the pups now reside with Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson.) There’s also Kate Middleton’s brother, James, who regularly posts photos of his four-legged family members. Even Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, love their dogs so much, they couldn’t resist including them in their brand-new holiday card.
I Was So Distracted by the New Photo of Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet That I Missed Who’s Standing Next to Them
They're part of the family
This week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released their 2024 Christmas card, which included six different images, with one of them featuring their two children, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.
This notable pic was positioned in the top row at the center, and it showed Archie and Lilibet running toward the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. I was so distracted by the heartfelt moment that I nearly missed the cameo by their three dogs.
According to Hello! magazine, the couple have a black labrador named Pula, along with two beagles named Guy and Mamma Mia. All three pets are featured in the pic, though Pula deserves an honorary award for looking directly at the camera.
The card itself read, “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year.”
Luckiest dogs ever.
