When we opened Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle's, 42, Archewell site this weekend, we did not expect the brand-new photo that greeted us on the homepage.

Now, when visitors go to the foundation’s website, they see a stunning shot of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, taken by Chris Jackson during the closing ceremony of Prince Harry's 2023 Invictus Games.

In the black-and-white shot, the pair are seen smiling and clapping, with Prince Harry in an all-black suit and Markle sporting a turquoise floral lace dress, custom-made by Cult Gaia.

The Invictus Games are an international multi-sport event for athletes who are wounded, injured or sick and may still be serving, or are now veterans. For 2023, the games (which were launched by Prince Harry in 2014) were held in Düsseldorf, Germany, where both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were present.

This photo update on the Archewell site happened like clockwork, because the royal pair updated their homepage almost exactly a year ago, in 2022.

Previously, the homepage image was taken by Misan Harriman during the 2022 One Young World Summit at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, England. The shot saw the two holding hands, while Markle appeared to be laughing.

If Harriman’s name sounds familiar, that's because the professional photographer also took the first birthday portrait of baby Lilibet, which was shared with the world in June 2022.

Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex changed their Archewell photo, the pair kept the message next to it the same: “Each of us can change our communities. All of us can change the world.”

We’re digging the update, Harry and Meghan.
