Prince Harry turns 39 today! The Duke of Sussex spent his special day with his wife, Meghan Markle, 42, some competing athletes and the rest of the crowd attending the sixth day of the 2023 Invictus Games, which is being held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

And while the couple watched a volleyball game from the stands, the last thing the royal spare expected was a birthday surprise. According to People magazine, Harry and Markle attended the match to watch Poland and Germany face off against each other.

In the middle of the game, everyone sang a rendition of “Happy Birthday” to the duke. Harry (as seen below) was clearly smiling from ear to ear. Meanwhile, Markle clapped along.

Throughout the week, Harry and Markle have been attending various events held at this year’s Invictus Games. On Wednesday, the Suits alum accompanied her hubby on day four of the games, where the pair got a chance to meet with athletes and present trophies.

Markle chose to go with a semi-casual look and rocked a white blazer with a matching pair of linen shorts and a black top. As for Harry’s outfit, he sported a black shirt with the “Invictus Games” logo on it and navy blue trousers.
