Prince Harry is addressing an issue that affects approximately 41 percent of Americans in the workplace: burnout.

According to People, the Duke of Sussex was one of the panelists who took part in the BetterUp Uplift summit on April 10 in San Francisco. (FYI, the 39-year-old spare has served as BetterUp’s first Chief Impact Officer since 2021.)

Per the Sussex website, the panel (Beyond Burnout: Transforming C-Level Stress Into Strength) takes a closer look at how C-level leaders (aka a top executive at any company) handle the “unique pressure of their roles, build resilience, and foster a culture that supports sustainable performance.”

During the discussion, Prince Harry was joined by actress and comedian Mindy Kaling, Tracee Ellis Ross, best-selling author James Clear, Dr. Adam Grant (BetterUp’s Chairman of the Center for Purpose & Performance) and Kelly Jones (Cisco’s Chief People Officer).

According to an article posted on the Sussex website about the conference, the speakers who participated in the panel discussed the “psychological toll of leading through uncertainty” as well as shared personal stories, innovative policies to combat burnout and more.

After the conference, Prince Harry took a quick snap with fellow panelist, Mindy Kaling. In the photo (see here), the royal and The Office alum were all smiles as they shared an embrace backstage.

During the panel discussion, The Mindy Project star shared a cheeky remark about her two kids, Kit, 6, and Spencer, 3. “What are you rethinking lately?” Grant asked, according to Hello! Magazine

Kaling jokingly responded, “Gentle parenting I am rethinking. It’s this thing lots of L.A. and N.Y. and certain progressive cities do, and sometimes you just have to scream at your kids…so I am rethinking it!”
