Were these photos taken in Pawnee, Indiana? Nope, that's actually Culver City, California, where the cast of Parks and Recreation had a mini reunion on the picket line. In case you're unaware, most of Hollywood is at a standstill right now, as the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA are currently both on strike, fighting for better pay and better working conditions for the people on screen and behind the scenes. So, a few of the Parks and Rec cast members decided to join together for the cause.
The ‘Parks and Rec’ Cast Had a Mini Reunion (with Li’l Sebastian) on the Picket Line
Members of the cast who were in attendance included Adam Scott (Ben Wyatt), Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate), Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson), Retta (Donna Meagle), Jim O'Heir (Jerry Gergich) and Ben Schwartz (Jean-Ralphio Saperstein).
Parks and Rec fans will be pleased to know that there was one furry friend who was also in attendance: Li’l Sebastian. The miniature horse, who is known as the beloved town pet in the NBC comedy, was seen on the picket line, too (but, we're guessing it's not the exact same horse from the series).
Even better, the pony was outfitted in a blanket that said “Li’l Sebastian,” and this steed wasn't the only one in character.
Plaza fully embraced her inner April Ludgate, holding a sign which humorously said, “Ann Perkins works for the AMPTP.” (On the series, Plaza's character was always making jabs at Ann, played by Rashida Jones.)
Other cast members who were there included Alison Becker (Shauna Malwae-Tweep), Kirk Fox (Joe Fantringham), Joe Mande (Morris Lerpiss), Susan Yeagley (Jessica Wicks), Allan McLeod (Trodd Frankensteip), and Colton Dunn (Brett Hull), according to Entertainment Weekly.
