Paris Hilton’s son, Phoenix, is only 8 months old, and he’s already racking up frequent flier miles.
This week, the Simple Life alum, 42, posted a slideshow of photos on Instagram documenting Phoenix’s first trip to New York City.

The photos show Hilton holding baby Phoenix on a white couch. She’s wearing a sparkly ball gown, and he’s wearing a sophisticated Burberry-inspired outfit. (We expect nothing less.)
The caption read, “My precious angel baby Phoenix’s first time in NYC.”
Followers filled the comments section with supportive messages. One person wrote, “Omg growing so fast. So adorable.” Another added, “Awwww his smile is so adorable! Looks like he lovezzzzz NYC.”
Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed baby Phoenix back in January. After his birth, Hilton revealed the inspiration behind her son’s name in an excerpt from her memoir, Paris.
“If all goes well, by the time you read this, Carter and I will have a baby boy,” she said. “We plan to name him Phoenix, a name that I decided on years ago when I was searching cities, countries and states on a map looking for something to go with Paris and London.”
Hilton continued, “Phoenix has a few good pop culture reference points, but more importantly it’s the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again. I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives. And that this should give us great hope for the future.”
