Talk about a surprise reveal. Last night at the 76th annual Tony Awards, one of the actresses famous for her role on the hit Netflix show, Orange Is the New Black, showcased her growing baby bump on the star-studded red carpet.

Upon arriving at the event, actress Uzo Aduba—who played Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren in the popular series—unbuttoned the front of her orange Christian Siriano blazer and showed off her bump to the world.

In one photo snapped at the awards show, the 42-year-old actress can be seen beaming and placing a hand on her stomach in front of photographers.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple will be expecting their first child together after secretly tying the knot in September 2021.

In honor of their one-year wedding anniversary back in 2021, the In Treatment alum shared a photo that was taken on their special day, which shows Aduba wearing a white gown (with a wedding veil) and Sweeting sporting a black tux.

In the caption, the actress wrote: “For some of us, it can feel like we spend our whole lives waiting for our special someone. My heart, my love—I’m so happy my life started last year with you. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me.”

The Orange Is the New Black alum isn’t the only celeb to announce their pregnancy on the red carpet. While attending the 2023 Met Gala, tennis star and mom Serena Williams, 41, announced that she is pregnant with her second child.

The Grand Slam champion celebrated the news with her followers on Instagram shortly after the event. Paired with a photo of her and her hubby, the caption read, “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.”

Congratulations, Uzo and Robert!
