Whether this is your first time shopping the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale or your third, I have some tips to help you save the most money between May 22 and June 2 at 11:59 p.m. PST. I've been covering (and shopping) this sale since 2021, and this year's lineup is especially impressive, with more than 27,000 items up for grabs for up to 89 percent off! That includes the Natori Cherry Blossom bra (from $76; $34) and the Dyson Airstrait hair straightener ($500; $400), which is marked down for the first time ever at Nordstrom! I'll just say there's a reason I go all in on this sale every year, and the biggest tip I could give you is to whip out your wallet and do the same.

With thousands of deals on top brands like Adidas, Open Edit and Free People to choose from, you're guaranteed to end up with something you love (perhaps these comfy and cute Nordstrom leather Elsie flats for under $40?). So don't even think about skipping this highly anticipated Nordstrom sale, especially if you want to give your wardrobe an overhaul for summer without totally clearing out your bank account. That said, my next tip is to start with these 12 items on everyone's wish list (including mine), because they won't stay in stock at these prices for much longer.

These comfortable sneakers have more than 13,000 reviews (over 70 percent of which give 'em 5 stars), so it's safe to say they're a hit with shoppers. But will they work for you? Given that they have cushioning designed to absorb impact and distribute weight with every step, I'd say heck yes. They also feature a boost foam sole that should provide optimal stability for running (and running errands), so their wearability and sellout risk are incredibly high. Translation: Hurry up and buy them on sale for under $80 before it's too late!

A good bra is supportive *and* comfy, and this convertible underwire Natori option checks those boxes and more because, as you can see, it's very pretty, too. Better yet, it ended one shopper's bra hunt: "I was searching for a minimally padded bra with underwire. This was it! The lace takes the bra from just functional to beautiful, but I do not fall out of the padded section like I do in other bras even from this brand. AND, It feels very comfortable." Guys, she bought one in every color, and so should you (at least while they're on sale for as low as $34!).

In the market for some new PJs? Everyone wants to get their hands on these Moonlight short pajamas, and you'll want to, too, after I tell you how soft they are. The long sleeve top and shorts are made of Tencel Modal and spandex, which feel cool to the touch and comfortable on the skin. But don't just buy this set for the lightweight fabric that impresses hot sleepers; buy it for menswear design that will make you feel dressed up when you're off to bed, as it has for tons of buyers. "They are nice enough to wear around friends/family for travel/visits, and I always get compliments. I have given them to several people as gifts as well," one reviewer raves. Good idea, I'll take two, please!

It just wouldn't be summertime without a new pair of flowy pants, so picking up this popular wide-leg pair from Open Edit is a no-brainer in my book. They're made of mostly rayon with a bit of polyester, so they should feel as comfortable and lightweight as they look. Plus, they're machine-washable, so you can wear them on repeat without taking a trip to the dry cleaners. And trust me, you'll want to. From their high waist to their tailored pleating and pretty light blue color, they're by far some of the most stylish pants you can buy on sale RN.

If you're anything like me, you won't be able to resist scooping up a sleek new pair of ballet flats for under $40, so I'll cut to the chase. Everything about this pair's simple cut and round toe is guaranteed to complement just about any fit. And just because they're reasonably priced doesn't mean they aren't high quality. In fact, these shoes have a leather upper and lining as well as a rubber sole. But here's why one buyer doesn't regret buying them (and plans on going back for more colors, may I add): "[They're] buttery soft and can be dressed up or down. [During the] initial try-on, [they] felt a little tight, but once walked in [them], they felt so comfortable. I was worried about how flat they were, but the insole has great padding." Another reviewer also mentioned that they work for her slightly wide feet, so you can't go wrong.

This flowy, boho-inspired mini will most definitely become your go-to dress for the summer months. It has a gorgeous sweetheart neckline with a smocked back for plenty of stretch, and chances are its viscose fabric is perfectly lightweight to offer up some movement. Needless to say, the pretty floral print will also pop in photos (of which there will be many if you're donning this frock), so go ahead and snag it on sale.

These Levi's jeans are up there on my list of things to buy during the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale, and it's not just because of their soft-yet-sturdy denim that buyers have nothing but good things to say about. I'm also intrigued by the retro light wash and slightly cropped hem, which both scream Cool Girl Summer to me. Plus, the brand says the jeans "hug the hips to showcase your curves to greatest effect," so I have no doubt they have some waist-accentuating powers. As one reviewer writes, they have a "perfect fit. Able to squat. Has some stretch but also keeps the shape really well." Some buyers note they do run a little baggy though, so I'm considering sizing down for a more slim fit.

This Dyson Airstrait hair straighter is selling fast, and it's not just because it's going on sale for the first time at Nordstrom. I can confirm that it dries and styles hair like no other tool can. Three other PureWow editors can also attest to its ability to minimize heat damage and breakage while smoothing out strands to perfection, which you can read all about in our review. But to put it in a nutshell, the cult-favorite Dyson device has various temperature levels, two speed settings (low and high), a cool shot mode and a wet and dry mode that allows you to go from washing your locks to straightening them in no time. It's one of the most innovative and efficient hair tools you can buy, IMO, so if you want to achieve good hair days all summer long, you know what to do.

Guys, I can't stop swooning over these sneakers, and can you really blame me? Between their suede overlay, contrast upper and treaded rubber sole, they're just about the most sporty-chic sneakers I've come across in a hot minute. And I don't doubt that they're super comfortable, too, as the brand is known for its performance-worthy footwear. Not to mention, this lace-up style has a removable, cushioned insole, so you can replace them with a custom pair if you so please. However, I have a feeling we'll all be satisfied with everything these shoes have going on.

You'll want a new pair of breezy shorts come summertime—maybe even sooner if you have a vacation planned. So do yourself a favor and secure this casual style that is perfect for throwing on at a moment's notice. No, seriously, they have an elastic drawstring waist, so you can pull them on in mere seconds and adjust them to fit to your liking. But don't just take my word for it. One happy buyer shares, "[These are a] great pair of shorts; [I] think [they] would look great on all figures as it’s loose and can be tied at the waist." P.S. They're made of viscose and polyester and are machine-washable for the win.

I heard you're looking for a lightweight blazer for summer. Well, look no further than this wardrobe staple from Open Edit. It's meant to be a bit slouchy and relaxed, so you don't feel restricted at any point during the day, and is made of mostly rayon (which is known for offering moderate breathability) so you shouldn't overheat (or freeze) in the office. It also has a one-button closure, front welt pockets and notched lapels—i.e. all the signature features of a classic blazer. It is definitely work-ready, but I imagine you'll end up wearing it outside the office, too. One reviewer explains, "This blazer can be worn multiple ways. Not too heavy, comfortable and slightly oversized, which I like a lot." Need I say more?

Love shirtdresses? Same! So I don't have to convince you to buy this 100 percent cotton poplin stylefor under $60. But just in case I do, you should know that this button-up collared frock has a subtle high-low hem in addition to handy side pockets, which is always a plus. Also, the dress has a drawstring waist that ties at the back, which means you'll be able to cinch it to your heart's content. I have a feeling it'll become your new fave for days at the beach and beyond.
