There are Swifties who can easily recite the words to Taylor Swift's biggest hits, like "Shake It Off." Then, there are fans who can decode her clues and Easter eggs like it's nobody's business. But now, thanks to Swift's record-breaking Eras tour, there's a growing third category: Swifties who will drop a pretty penny to see their favorite pop star perform live.

Enter Nikki Glaser—or shall I say one of the world's biggest Swifties. The 40-year-old comedian told People that she spent "close to $100,000" to see 22 of Swift’s Eras Tour shows, and she doesn't regret it. She told the outlet, “I want to be clear that we're including travel expenses, hotels and me also flying and putting up everyone that I would invite to go with me, plus tickets, plus merch.”

The future Golden Globes host also noted that the experiences were “all well worth it.” She added, “I would’ve paid even more.”

According to The New York Times, Swift's tour brought in a staggering $2 billion in ticket sales alone, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time (and the only one to earn more than $1 billion in revenue). Glaser told People, “It’s nice to see the total that she made. I love that it was down to the dollar, and I could see my own money in that number and be like, ‘Yeah, there it is.’”

Although the comedian has gotten some pushback for her decision, she said, “I justify that cost because I don't have kids, and it's something that I consciously decided not to do.”

She continued, “I did look up how much it cost to raise a kid. And so once I saw that number, I thought, ‘It's no problem for me to spend this on Taylor Swift.’ People spend that much on their kids playing hockey for five years. So it's okay.”

The die-hard Swiftie shared the same sentiments when she appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in October 2023. At the time, revealed she had already spent $25,000 on nine Eras Tour shows. She explained, “It just fills my life up with so much joy. I’m in my late 30s. I just feel like, I don’t have kids, and I did the math and if I had kids, I’d be paying for dance camp and swim lessons.”

Keep thriving, Nikki.
