Nicole Byer just arrived at the 2021 Emmy Awards, and she totally nailed her ensemble. (Sorry, had to.)
The Nailed It! host, 35, walked the red carpet for the 73rd annual ceremony, which is taking place in downtown Los Angeles. Byer wore a stunning purple gown by Christian Siriano, which turned heads for all the right reasons.
In the photo, Byer is posing in the gorgeous purple dress, which low-key resembles a fashionable loofah. The gown features two layers of fabric—the first frames her shoulders, while the second creates a cascading train. The ruffles only add to the dress’s magical vibe.
Byer is donning minimal jewelry, including a flashy ring and drop earrings. Her hair is styled in a messy updo, which complements the flowy gown.
So, who is Nicole Byer? She’s widely known as the host of Netflix’s popular cooking show, Nailed It! The television personality received her second Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program. Although RuPaul Charles from RuPaul’s Drag Race has won the statuette five six years in a row, Byer was hoping to break that streak.
In addition to Nailed It!, Byer also has an impressive acting resume, which includes Party Over Here, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Transparent, The Unicorn and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
There are still tons of red-carpet looks to come for the 2021 Emmy Awards. However, if we had to make a prediction, we’d say that Byer is going to land herself on several “Best Dressed” lists.
