In the interview, Campbell opened up about her daughter, whose name she chose to keep private, and revealed that the infant was a natural in front of the camera—much like her mom. Campbell said, "She loves the light. She’s inquisitive. She was looking at everyone—she looks at people right in the eye and for a very long time. She was taking it all in."
As it turns out, her little one also doesn't mind being on the road with her mother. Campbell said, "She’s a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I’m told she’s very alert for her age. She’s just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She’s almost talking."
If you recall, Campbell made the surprise announcement in 2021 by sharing a photo of her daughter's feet on IG and confirming that she "wasn't adopted." The caption read, "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honored to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."
At the time, she kept her plans to become a mother private, only telling her closest loved ones. She told Vogue, "I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her. But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done."
