Cue the confetti, because Mindy Kaling's son, Spencer, is officially one year older.

Earlier this week, the actress and screenwriter, 45, celebrated Spencer's fourth birthday and shared a few highlights from his celebration, including snaps of the preschooler driving his toy car and eating a Cars-themed birthday cake. Kaling wrote, "Happy Birthday to my number one guy, Spencer Kaling (who woke up this morning and said, 'I had a great night’s sleep and now I’m four!')"

The slideshow, which garnered over 100,000 likes, starts off with a pic of Spencer admiring the silver "happy birthday balloons" in his playroom. The actress also offered a glimpse of his bouncy house and included a snap of Spencer opening his gifts. One fan commented, "Happiest birthday wishes! Super impressed with the cake, but even more so with the genius cup under ice cream on a stick." Another added, "Wow can’t believe he’s 4!!!! Happy birthday. Sending lots of love."

Spencer's birthday tribute comes two months after The Office alum announced the birth of her third child. The proud mom shared a post that features a snap of her two children, Katherine, 6, and Spencer, bonding with their newborn sister.

Kaling also shared a pic of her baby bump and a candid shot of her kids visiting her in the delivery room. She wrote, “In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne. She’s the best birthday present I could’ve ever imagined. When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life.”

In a recent interview with WSJ Magazine, Kaling opened up about being a single mom. She said, "It's really rewarding, being a mom and spending time with these two people who look like me. I love them, and they're so funny. In terms of my career, I'm a single mom, I'm the breadwinner in the house."

Kaling continued, "So there's a lot of panic that comes with that, the buck stops with me, I have to earn money for them. Having kids is everything—wanting to be a good role model and wanting to produce content that doesn't embarrass them and makes them proud is another layer to my life and a complication that I welcome."
