It’s a rare occasion that we get to see photos of Mindy Kaling’s two-year-old daughter, Katherine. But thankfully, yesterday was one of those days. Kaling shared a sweet snap of her and her daughter on Instagram—and they had clearly coordinated their footwear.
In the photo, we see the mother-daughter duo twinning in sparkling silver glitter sandals on a toddler-approved foam play mat.
“Got these little @ohjoyco pons sandals for me and Kit. Glitter is our aesthetic,” she captioned the pic.
The 40-year-old actress’s A Wrinkle in Time costar Reese Witherspoon even commented on the photo writing, “Glitter is your signature color.” We totally agree.
If you didn’t know, Kit is the super trendy nickname that Kaling gave her little girl. Although she first referenced the nickname in an interview with Shape in May of last year, Kaling didn’t officially confirm the shortened moniker until August of 2018.
