On last night's The Late Show, Milo Ventimiglia spoke candidly with Stephen Colbert about his infamous This Is Us nude scene...and we loved every minute of it.
As Ventimiglia reminded us (just kidding, we could never forget), the pilot episode of our favorite ugly-cry-inducing show featured the gorgeous Jack Pearson wearing nothing but the “Terrible Towel.” Ventimiglia painted a vivid behind-the-scenes picture, sharing that This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman wrote the butt shot into the script and surprised Ventimiglia with “flesh-colored patches of cloth and tape” on set to cover his “manhood.” Oh, my.
Ventimiglia was quick to say the crew was more than polite and cleared the set for him. And in between takes he tried to keep his cool by relying on the trusty “Terrible Towel” and a nearby wall to keep him covered up.
PS: Skip to the five-minute mark in the video above to hear all about his beautiful backside.
