This Is Us fans will be extremely pleased with this brand-new The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel casting announcement.

According to Deadline, Milo Ventimiglia (who plays Jack Pearson on the NBC series) will star in season four of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Although Amazon didn’t reveal any details about his character, we have a feeling he’ll cross paths with the titular character in the new episodes.

Season four of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will pick up right where we left off in the previous installment, with Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) developing her stand-up comedy career alongside her manager slash friend, Susie (Alex Borstein).

In addition to Ventimiglia, Brosnahan and Borstein, season four of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will feature several familiar faces, including Tony Shalhoub (Abe), Marin Hinkle (Rose), Michael Zegen (Joel), Kevin Pollak (Moishe) and Caroline Aaron (Shirley). Stephanie Hsu (Mei) and Luke Kirby (Lenny) will also reprise their roles.

The announcement shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to Ventimiglia fans, since he’s previously worked alongside series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino on Gilmore Girls. Not to mention, the actor perfectly aligns with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s reputation at award shows.

Not only has the series won 20 Emmy Awards, but it’s also nabbed three Golden Globe Awards (among many others). To date, Ventimiglia has received three Emmy nominations for This Is Us, so perhaps The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will seal the deal.
