We’re dreading the day when Stranger Things airs its final episode on Netflix. On the other hand, Millie Bobby Brown (who plays Eleven) is counting down the days.
Here’s Why Millie Bobby Brown Is Ready for ‘Stranger Things’ to End
She's only just begun
In a brand-new interview for Glamour’s “Woman of the Year” issue, the 19-year-old actress discussed the popular Netflix series that launched her acting career. Although Brown will always have a soft spot for Eleven, she revealed that she’s ready to move on after the fifth—and final—season.
“When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’” she told the mag.
In addition to her acting career, Brown also has a beauty brand (Florence by Mills) and a production company (PCMA Productions). The actress confirmed that she’s looking forward to focusing on other projects once the Netflix show ends.
“Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about,” she continued. “So, I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye.’”
Brown admitted that Stranger Things has given her “the tools and the resources to be a better actor.” Although the show is ending after season five, the actress confirmed that she’ll keep in touch with the cast. “When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people,” she added.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Brown.
