Michael Douglas Shares Throwback Pic in Honor of Catherine Zeta-Jones's 52nd Birthday from the Night They Met

In case you didn't already think Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas were an iconic couple, it turns out these two also share the same birthday.

The pair made posts for each other on their respective Instagrams, and they offered followers a view of their relationship throughout the years. One of the best parts was that in Michael Douglas's post, he shared a photo from the night that they first met.

In the caption he wrote, “My first night meeting Catherine at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998. I found out that she had the same birthday as me--tadaah!”

The actor continued his message for her 52nd birthday, saying, “Then when I discovered she loved golf, I realized all my fantasies had come true. I've lucked out at this time in my life. I just lucked out. I'm so impressed by her intelligence, sense of humor and work ethic. Happy Birthday Catherine- I love you so much!”

Zeta-Jones responded to her husband's post, saying, “Love you my love. Happy birthday,” with a bunch of heart-eyed emojis.

But that wasn't all. Douglas, who celebrated his 77th birthday on the same day, received a special post from Zeta-Jones. In her post, she shared a more recent photo with a bit of a comical caption, saying, “Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday to him, Happy Birthday to my husband and his wife, Happy Birthday to me, and me, and me, and Michael.”

She ended the message on a more serious note, writing, “Here’s to more years that we can celebrate September 25th together. Love you.”

We are obsessed with these two.
