Kelly Ripa’s Son Michael Reveals the Show That His Parents Go ‘On and On About’

Michael Consuelos may not live with his parents, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, anymore. But that doesn’t mean he’s not aware of their guilty pleasures. Luckily, he gave Live viewers a glimpse into his parents' relationship, specifically when it comes to their TV preferences.

Around Thanksgiving, Michael appeared as a guest on Live with Kelly and Ryan. During the episode, the 24-year-old actor helped his mom and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, make a foolproof potatoes au gratin recipe.

The clip shows Seacrest introducing Michael, before asking him to reveal gossip about his parents. “So, when mommy and daddy are in the basement at night, what movies are they playing? What do they hear through the door?”

Turns out, there’s one show that Ripa and Consuelos can’t stop “going on and on” about: Succession.

“Well, they're watching Succession recently,” Michael revealed. “That’s the big thing. Whenever I'm on the show, I spend the night at their place because it's close to the studio. I was at the dinner table with them and they were just going on and on about [Succession]. I don’t know if that's a bad thing.”

And he wasn’t kidding. A few days later, the 51-year-old TV personality shared a handful of photos featuring her kids on social media. First, she posted a selfie of herself and her youngest child, Joaquin, followed by two more images featuring Michael and then another including daughter Lola. Naturally, she picked the Succession theme song to play in the background of all three photos.
