There should be a new saying in Hollywood: couples that act together, stay together.

Based on the popular video game of the same name, The Last of Us has become a mega-hit among audiences. In the series, actress Melanie Lynskey, 45, guest-starred as Kathleen Coghlan, who is the cruel leader of a resistance group based in Kansas City, Missouri.

During a BTS segment, fans noticed a very familiar face portraying one of the zombies: Lynskey’s husband, Jason Ritter. One person posted a Twitter photo that shows Ritter, 43, dressed as a Clicker.

In The Last of Us, humans must fight to survive in a world that’s been overtaken by zombies (aka the “infected”). Among them, there are individuals known as “Clickers.” These creatures are blind but respond to sound, and they make a clicking sound when searching for victims.

The fan wrote in the caption, “Do I spy with my little eye @JasonRitter (in The Last Of Us BTS) on set as a clicker…? @melanielynskey, gonna assume this was ‘Take Your Husband to Work’ Day.” Ritter saw the picture and responded, “Just the best day.”

Lynskey and Ritter first met while filming the movie The Big Ask in 2013, and they tied the knot in 2020. The pair have worked together on a number of projects since they first met, and it looks like the duo is adding another one to the list.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Ritter is set to make a guest appearance on the second season of Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, Showtime hasn’t revealed any details about his role.

Now we can’t help but wonder: What’s next for the power couple?
